How it works
No dedicated timing crew. No expensive server setup. Your hardware, an internet connection, and AION does the rest.
Point your RFID reader at AION Chip Sync. Takes 5 minutes. Works with all major hardware.
Upload a CSV or connect BikeReg. Add walk-ups on race day. Assign chips and plate numbers per entry.
Hit Start Race. Chip reads flow in automatically. Leaderboard updates for every lap, every category.
Click Finish. Results publish instantly. AI insights generate per racer. Share the race story. Done.
AION Spoke + Word
AION generates a personal performance summary for each racer after every race — their position, their battles, their best lap. Then a full race narrative that names every single person who showed up. Parents share it. Racers screenshot it. Communities grow around it.
"Alex flew in the Junior category today — P1 with 8 clean laps. His pace through the middle section was relentless. Tyler pushed hard but never quite closed the gap, finishing just 14 seconds behind in what was the closest battle of the morning."
"What a morning at Lakeside Short Track. The Junior field brought the heat from lap one, with Alex setting the tone early. In Sport Men, Chris and David staged an epic battle through the back section — never more than 8 seconds apart for the entire race..."
See it in action
From the moment you import your start list to the second the AI race story lands in every racer's inbox — here's what AION Hub looks like in the real world.
01 — Live timing
The moment a chip crosses the line AION updates the standings — live for everyone watching. Color-coded momentum arrows show who's getting faster and who's fading. No refresh needed.
02 — AION Spoke
Powered by Google Gemini AI, AION Spoke generates a personal post-race insight for every single racer — not just the podium. Their position, their battles, their lap trend, their moment. Content they'll actually want to share.
"Parents were sharing the Spoke cards on Facebook before the podium ceremony was even finished."
— Beta tester, Lakeside Short Track series
03 — Series standings
The moment you click Finish Race, AION calculates points for every racer in every category and updates the championship standings automatically. No spreadsheets. No Sunday night admin. Just results.
04 — Live GPS tracking
Racers scan a QR code at the start line — no app install, no sign-up. Their phone starts broadcasting position to the live map. Staff watch from anywhere. Parents follow their rider. No one needs to ask "where are they?"
QR at the start line
Post the GPS QR code on your start line board. Racers scan, enter their plate number and they're on the map. Takes 10 seconds.
05 — AION Word
AION Word generates a full race narrative the moment you click Finish — mentioning every single racer by name. The battles, the surges, the surprise results. Post it on social, email it to participants, or publish it on your results page.
06 — Lap times & results
AION captures every lap time from every chip read — not just the final result. You can see exactly how each racer progressed through the race, which lap was their best, and whether they faded or finished strong.
07 — Battle detection
When two racers are within seconds of each other, AION flags it as a live battle. You know exactly where to look, what the gap is, and who has the momentum. Spectators see it too — on their phones, in real time.
08 — Social sharing cards
AION generates a shareable result card for every racer — designed for Instagram, Facebook, and messaging apps. Their position, their stats, their AI insight, their lap trend. One tap to share. Your brand in every post.
"Parents were sharing the result cards before the podium ceremony was finished. Three of them tagged our club page. That never happened with a PDF results sheet."
— Beta promoter, grassroots MTB series

Why AION
AION comes from the ancient Greek αἰών — not clock time (chronos), but the continuous, unbroken flow of time. The kind that connects every lap you've ever ridden into a single arc.
Chronos is the clock — minutes and seconds. AION is the journey — every race, every rival, every improvement across a season. We track both, but we care about the second one.
Our AI doesn't just report results — it reads the race. Who pushed whom. Who faded. Who found a gear in the final lap. Context that turns a timestamp into a story worth sharing.
AION remembers. A junior racer's first podium. A masters rider's season-best lap. The moment someone finally beat their rival. The full arc — not just today's snapshot.
"We named it AION because great races deserve more than a spreadsheet. They deserve a story."

About us
We're avid cyclists, racers, parents, and coaches who've spent enough weekends on cold start lines and late nights entering race results into spreadsheets to know there had to be a better way.
AION started with a simple belief — more kids and adults should be out on bikes, having fun at local races. But race promotion is hard. The logistics are brutal. The admin is thankless. And the engagement usually dies the moment everyone loads up their cars and drives home.
We built AION to change that. Not just to make timing easier — but to use race data to spark real engagement before, during, and after every event. The banter from lap splits. The rivalry that builds over a season. The moment a kid sees their name in an AI-generated race story and suddenly can't wait for the next race.

Co-founder
Racer, dad, and the guy who got tired of running timing from a clipboard. Believes every grassroots race deserves pro-grade tech — and that the best rides happen when the community shows up together.
LJ
Co-founder
Hardware wizard, RFID specialist, and the one who figured out how to get a chip read from a finish line to a parent's phone in under a second. If it involves an antenna and a cloud relay, LJ built it.
"We don't want race promoters spending Sunday night calculating series points. We want them in bed early, knowing the results went out automatically, the AI already wrote the race story, and their racers are already talking about next weekend."
